About The Position

Griswold Care in Fridley is hiring a part-time CNA/In-Home Caregiver to provide non-medical elderly care and companionship in clients’ homes. Caregivers assist clients with daily living tasks while preserving their dignity and independence. Duties may include laundry, meal preparation, grocery shopping, bathing, and personal hygiene support. Caregivers may occasionally serve clients with dementia or cognitive impairments and are expected to provide patient, compassionate, and respectful care. At the end of each shift, caregivers submit accurate documentation and inform the office about changes in clients’ care. Scheduling is flexible, with day and night shifts available. Client care needs range from as little as four hours to 24-hour care, and hours may change based on client needs, care plans, and staffing requirements.

Requirements

Reliable transportation.
Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude when assisting seniors with care and household tasks.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Two or more years of home care experience is a plus; caring for a loved one counts.
