About The Position

The Caregiver / Homemaker / HHA / CNA / PCA provides steady, non-medical support to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, grocery shopping, transportation support, and following each client’s individualized care plan while working independently in clients’ homes.

A typical shift begins with checking in and discussing what would make the day easier and brighter for the client. Visits proceed at a comfortable pace, with conversation, listening, and respectful support. The caregiver also keeps schedules and notes organized between homes. Visits may be lively or quiet, but the role consistently provides reassurance and dependable assistance.

Requirements

• Be dependable, patient, and compassionate.
• Have strong communication and people skills.
• Be able to work independently in clients’ homes.
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Be willing to travel between nearby towns.

Nice To Haves

• Caregiving experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare simple meals.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Run errands and grocery shop.
• Support transportation.
