About The Position

At Home Healthcare provides non-medical, in-home services in Tennessee. Caregivers assist clients with daily activities they cannot fully manage independently and provide practical support and companionship in the home and in the community. The company provides training at no cost for certification to applicants without experience. The position pays $15.00–$17.00 per hour. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Enjoy working one-on-one and be eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
Have knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, housekeeping, cooking, and personal care services.
Willingness to follow health, safety, confidentiality, and other company standards.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and physically perform job-related duties.
Demonstrated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Be supportive, compassionate, and respectful of all persons.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including ambulation, dressing, personal care, hygiene, eating, and visiting friends.
Help clients move around the home and outside it, including to doctor’s appointments and walks.
Plan and prepare meals and, in some cases, help clients serve and eat them.
Complete clients’ shopping or accompany them while shopping.
Perform light housekeeping duties that clients cannot complete on their own.
Provide pleasant and supportive companionship.
Report unusual incidents to the office immediately.
