About The Position

At Home Healthcare is seeking a Caregiver/CNA to provide non-medical, in-home support to clients in Overton County, Tennessee. The role focuses on helping clients with activities they cannot fully complete independently and offering companionship. Training for certification is provided at no cost, and prior experience is not required. The listed pay range is $15.00–$17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Enjoy working one-on-one and be eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
Have knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, housekeeping, cooking, and personal care services.
Adhere to health, safety, confidentiality, and other company standards.
Be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and physically perform job-related duties.
Demonstrate the ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Be supportive, compassionate, and respectful of all persons.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including ambulation, dressing, personal care, hygiene, eating, and visiting friends.
Help clients move around their homes and outdoors, including accompanying them to appointments and walks.
Plan and prepare meals and, when needed, help clients serve and eat them.
Complete clients’ shopping or accompany them while shopping.
Perform light housekeeping duties clients cannot complete independently.
Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
Immediately report unusual incidents to the office.
