About The Position

At Home Healthcare is seeking a Caregiver/CNA to provide non-medical, in-home support to clients in DeKalb County, Tennessee. The role assists people with activities they cannot fully manage on their own and provides practical help and companionship. No prior experience is required; the company provides the training necessary for certification at no cost. The position pays $15.00–$17.00 per hour. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
Know or be willing to learn housekeeping activities, cooking, and personal care services.
Adhere to health, safety, confidentiality, and other company standards.
Be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and have the physical capability to perform job-related duties.
Demonstrate the ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Be supportive, compassionate, and respectful of all persons.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living they cannot fully complete independently, including ambulation, dressing, personal care and hygiene, eating, and visiting a friend.
Help clients move around the home or outside, including attending doctor’s appointments and going for walks.
Plan and prepare meals and, when needed, assist clients with serving and eating meals.
Complete clients’ shopping or accompany them while they shop.
Perform light housekeeping duties clients cannot complete independently.
Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
Report unusual incidents to the office immediately.
