About The Position

At Home Healthcare is a provider of non-medical, in-home services in Tennessee. Caregivers assist clients with daily activities they cannot fully complete independently and provide practical help, companionship, and support. The company provides training at no cost for certification, including for candidates with no prior experience. The role is located in Pickett County, Tennessee, and pays $15.00–$17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Enjoy working one-on-one and be eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
Have knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, housekeeping, cooking, and personal care services.
Be willing to follow health, safety, confidentiality, and other company standards.
Be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and have the physical capability to perform job-related duties.
Demonstrate the ability to act compassionately and supportively.
Be supportive, compassionate, and respectful of all persons.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including ambulation, dressing, personal care and hygiene, eating, and visiting friends.
Help clients move around their homes and accompany them outside, including to appointments and on walks.
Plan and prepare meals and, when needed, assist clients with serving and eating them.
Complete clients’ shopping or accompany them while they shop.
Perform light housekeeping tasks clients cannot complete independently.
Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
Report unusual incidents to the office immediately.
