About The Position

At Home Healthcare is a provider of non-medical, in-home services in Tennessee. Caregivers assist clients with daily activities they cannot fully complete on their own and provide practical support and companionship in the home and in the community. The employer provides training necessary for certification at no cost to employees who have no prior experience. The listed pay range is $15.00–$17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
Have knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, housekeeping, cooking, and providing personal care services.
Adhere to health, safety, confidentiality, and other company standards.
Be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and physically perform job-related duties.
Demonstrate the ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Be supportive, compassionate, and respectful of all persons.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including ambulation, dressing, personal care, hygiene, eating, and visiting friends.
Help clients move around the house or outside, including to medical appointments and walks.
Plan and prepare meals and, when needed, assist clients with serving and eating meals.
Complete shopping for clients or accompany them while they shop.
Perform light housekeeping duties that clients cannot complete independently.
Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
Immediately report unusual incidents to the office.
