Caregiver CNA/HHA/PCA - Day Shift - 7AM - 7PM
About The Position
ComForCare is seeking caregivers to help clients live independently in their own homes. Clients may be elderly people needing daily assistance, people with chronic illnesses, disabilities or mental health conditions, and people recovering from surgery or injuries. The role offers flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons and weekends, and involves travel between clients’ homes. The posting states that clients’ homes are always less than 30 minutes away when traveling. Caregivers assist with daily activities and personal care, mobility and transfers, range-of-motion exercises, meal planning and preparation, feeding, household needs, companionship and respite for families. Requirements
- A passion for serving and helping others live their best lives possible.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
- State Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
- Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) qualifications are listed.
- Access to reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- MAP (Medication Administration Program) is preferred.
- Previous experience as an at-home caregiver or in senior communities is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities so they can remain independent in their homes.
- Assist with personal care.
- Assist with mobility, transfers and range-of-motion exercises.
- Plan and prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Manage household needs appropriately.
- Provide companionship and respite services for families.
- Travel between clients’ homes.
