About The Position
Care.com is seeking an empathetic, solutions-oriented After Hours Care Specialist to support members by phone, email, and chat. The role helps families navigate care solutions, corporate benefits, and urgent crisis resources during evenings and weekends. It is remote for candidates in the Dallas, Texas area and follows a scheduled weekly shift in Eastern Time, with Monday and Tuesday off.
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of customer or client service experience.
- High emotional intelligence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong multitasking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be reliable, adapt to change, and accept continuous coaching.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a human services field such as social work or public health.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls, emails, and chats with empathy and professionalism.
- Guide members to mental health resources, including EAP, and provide critical resources for urgent shelter, food, or crisis situations.
- Verify member eligibility and accurately document interactions in the CRM system.
- Meet or exceed daily and weekly KPIs, including service level agreements and customer satisfaction scores.
