About The Position

Clinical Associates is a multi-specialty medical practice in the northern Baltimore suburban community, providing an integrated system of medical care with in-house specialists. The practice is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners to staff its After Hours Care Clinic at the Woodholme office in Pikesville, Maryland.

The clinic sees established patients by appointment and is not a walk-in clinic. It is open Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Candidates must have experience performing preoperative examinations and treating adults for acute and episodic illnesses.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current, active state licensure.
• At least 2 years of related experience in primary care.
• Experience completing preoperative examinations.
• Experience treating adult patients for various acute and episodic illnesses.
• Ability to empathize with patients.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Computer literacy.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in an electronic medical record system; NextGen experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses.
• Perform patient examinations, including preoperative examinations.
• Prescribe medication.
• Order diagnostic tests.
• Communicate with primary care providers regarding patient care.
