About The Position
Clinical Associates, a multi-specialty medical practice in the northern Baltimore suburban community, is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners to staff its After Hours Care Clinic at the Woodholme office in Pikesville, Maryland. The clinic serves established patients by appointment and is not a walk-in clinic. Candidates must have experience completing preoperative examinations and treating adults for acute and episodic illnesses. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current, active state licensure.
- At least 2 years of related experience in primary care.
- Ability to empathize with patients.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Computer literate.
Nice To Haves
- NextGen EMR experience.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses.
- Perform patient examinations, including preoperative examinations.
- Prescribe medication.
- Order diagnostic tests.
- Communicate with the primary care provider regarding patient care.
