About The Position

The Care Partner supports residents at Vitalia Montrose in Copley, Ohio, by creating human connections and providing empathetic care during vulnerable moments. The role includes proactively assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. Care Partners are expected to contribute to an inclusive, positive community, be dependable and engaged, and participate in their development, growth, and training. This is a full-time overnight position with alternating weekly schedules: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday one week; Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday the next week, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Pay is $19–$24.25 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude and enthusiasm for working with residents.
Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.
