About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Care Partner at Kentridge in Kent, Ohio. The position pays $19–$24.25 per hour and is scheduled Mondays from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Care Partner supports residents with activities of daily living and helps create human connections through empathetic, dependable, and proactive care. The role also calls for contributing to an inclusive, positive community and participating in personal development, growth, and training.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude and enthusiasm for working with residents.
- Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connections with residents, including during vulnerable moments.
- Be present and dependable, share talents, and contribute positively to the team and community.
- Be engaged in development, growth, and training within the organization.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist people after a fall.
