Care Partner 6am-6pm $19-24.25 (Full Time)
About The Position
The Care Partner supports residents at Kentridge in Kent, Ohio, by providing compassionate, person-centered assistance and building human connections, especially during vulnerable moments. The role emphasizes empathy, dependability, a positive and inclusive approach, and active engagement in learning and professional growth. Care Partners assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. This is a full-time position scheduled from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on a rotating two-week schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday in week one; Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday in week two. Pay is $19 to $24.25 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
- Possess computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
- Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the workday.
- Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
- Obtain criminal clearance.
