About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Care Partner at Kentridge in Kent, Ohio. The role focuses on creating empathetic human connections with residents, contributing positively to the team and community, and assisting residents with activities of daily living. The schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with Tuesday and Saturday shifts in week one and a Tuesday shift in week two. Pay is $19–$24.25 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Possess computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create empathetic human connections with residents, particularly during vulnerable moments.

Remain curious and engaged in professional development, growth, and training.
Proactively assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Print documents and enter information about residents.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist people after a fall.
