About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Care Partner to join our team at Cedar Trails in Freeburg, IL. This part-time role involves providing direct care and creating human connections with residents, understanding the importance of empathy, and contributing to an inclusive and positive environment. The Care Partner will be proactive in assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. We are looking for individuals who are at least eighteen years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, can communicate effectively in English, have a positive and energetic attitude, possess basic computer skills, and are physically capable of performing the duties of the role, including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and assisting residents with mobility and after falls. Criminal clearance is required.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
