Care Partner 7am-7pm $17.50-25 (Part Time)
About The Position
The Care Partner at Crestone in Olathe, Kansas, assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. The role emphasizes empathy, creating human connection during residents’ vulnerable moments, being dependable and present, contributing to an inclusive and positive environment, and remaining engaged in personal development and training. The position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping throughout the day, and assisting residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall. The listed shift is Wednesday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pay is $17.50–$25 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
- Possess computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
- Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
- Be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
- Be criminally cleared.
