About The Position

The Care Partner creates human connections with residents, contributes to an inclusive and positive team environment, and stays engaged in their own development and training. The role proactively assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. The position is part-time and is based at Wellington in Liberty, Missouri. The scheduled shift is Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Pay is $17.50–$25 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude and enthusiasm for working with residents.
Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connections with residents, including during vulnerable moments.
Be present, share talents, and be a dependable team member.
Help create an inclusive and positive environment for residents, team members, and the community.
Remain curious and engaged in development, growth, and training.
Proactively assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist people after a fall.
Print documents and enter information about residents.
