About The Position

The Care Partner supports residents at Vitalia Highland Heights by creating human connections and providing empathetic, dependable care during vulnerable moments. The role includes proactively assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. Care Partners are expected to contribute to an inclusive and positive environment, remain engaged in their own development and training, and use computer skills to print documents and enter resident information. This is a full-time position in Highland Heights, Ohio, with a 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. schedule. The schedule alternates weekly: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in Week 1; Monday, Saturday, and Sunday in Week 2. Pay is $18–$24 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Have a positive and energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Possess computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, including assisting persons after a fall.
Obtain criminal clearance.
