Care Partner 7pm-7am $18-24 (Full Time)
About The Position
The Care Partner supports residents at Vitalia Solon in Solon, Ohio, with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. The role emphasizes empathy and creating human connections with residents, especially during vulnerable moments. Care Partners are expected to contribute to an inclusive, positive environment, be dependable and present for residents and coworkers, and remain curious and engaged in their own development, growth, and training. The position is full-time, with a listed pay range of $18–$24 per hour and an overnight schedule of 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The schedule alternates: Monday, Saturday, and Sunday in week one; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in week two.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude and enthusiasm for working with residents.
- Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and to assist persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
