About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Care Partner at University Living in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The role focuses on building empathetic human connections with residents, creating an inclusive and positive environment, and supporting residents with activities of daily living. The scheduled shift is Monday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pay is $18–$21 per hour. The Care Partner is expected to be present and dependable, contribute their talents to the team, and remain curious and engaged in development, growth, and training. The role involves active physical work throughout the day, including assisting residents with mobility and personal care.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude and enjoyment of working with residents.
Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and to assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create empathetic human connections with residents, including during vulnerable moments.
Contribute to an inclusive, positive environment and invest in the team and community.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Remain engaged in development, growth, and training within the organization.
Print documents and enter information about residents using a computer.
