About The Position

The Care Partner supports residents at Vitalia Westlake in Westlake, Ohio, by creating human connection and providing assistance during vulnerable moments. The role emphasizes empathy, reliability, curiosity, teamwork, and creating an inclusive, positive environment. Care Partners assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. The listed schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., working Wednesday one week and Thursday the next. Pay is $18–$24 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude and enthusiasm for working with residents.
Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and to assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.
