About The Position

The Care Partner supports residents at Vitalia Solon in Solon, Ohio, by creating meaningful human connections and providing empathetic care during vulnerable moments. The role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. Care Partners are expected to contribute to a positive, inclusive environment, be dependable and engaged, and participate in their own development and training. This is a part-time position with a Wednesday overnight shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The pay range is $18–$24 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Have a positive and energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Have computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Be criminally cleared.
