About The Position

The Care Partner supports residents at Carriage Court in Hilliard, Ohio, by creating empathetic human connections and providing assistance with activities of daily living. The role calls for a present, dependable, curious, and positive team member who contributes to an inclusive environment and engages in ongoing development and training. This is a full-time position with a repeating two-week schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in Week 1; Monday, Saturday, and Sunday in Week 2. Shifts run from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pay is $18 to $21.25 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude and a strong commitment to residents.
Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connections with residents, including during vulnerable moments.
Be present, share talents, and be someone residents and team members can count on.
Contribute to an inclusive and positive environment through investment in the work, team, and community.
Remain curious and engaged in development, growth, and training.
Proactively assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Print documents and enter information about residents.
