About The Position

The Care Partner supports residents at Carriage Court in Hilliard, Ohio, by creating meaningful human connections and providing empathetic, dependable care. The role includes proactively assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. Care Partners are expected to contribute to an inclusive and positive environment, be present and reliable, and stay engaged in their own development, growth, and training. This is a part-time position scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pay is $18 to $21.25 per hour. The position involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping throughout the day, frequently lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds, and assisting residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive, energetic attitude and enthusiasm for working with residents.
Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.
