About The Position

The Care Partner supports residents at Madison, an Arrow Senior Living community in Kansas City, Missouri, by creating human connections and helping with activities of daily living. The role emphasizes empathy, dependability, inclusivity, positivity, curiosity, and engagement in training and professional growth. Care Partners assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. This is a full-time overnight position with a rotating two-week schedule: Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday in week one; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in week two. Shifts run from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Pay is $17.50–$25 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Have a positive and energetic attitude and a strong commitment to residents.
Have computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking and assist persons after a fall.
Be criminally cleared.
