About The Position

The Care Partner supports residents in a senior living community by creating human connections and providing empathetic care during vulnerable moments. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. Care Partners are expected to contribute to an inclusive, positive environment, be dependable and present for residents and teammates, and remain curious and engaged in their own development, growth, and training. This is a full-time overnight position at Crestone in Olathe, Kansas. The schedule is 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.: Monday, Saturday, and Sunday during week one; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday during week two. The listed pay range is $17.50–$25 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Have a positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
Have computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Obtain criminal clearance.
