About The Position

The Care Partner provides compassionate, attentive support to residents at Parkway in Blue Springs, Missouri. The role focuses on building human connection, being dependable and present, contributing to an inclusive and positive community, and participating in personal development and training. Care Partners proactively assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. The position is full-time, with a rotating two-week schedule of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday in week one, and Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in week two. Pay is $17.50–$25 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Have a positive, energetic attitude and a strong interest in working with residents.
Possess computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, including after a fall.
Be criminally cleared.
