About The Position

Care Partner at Vitalia Strongsville in Strongsville, Ohio. The role focuses on supporting residents with empathy and creating human connections during vulnerable moments. Care Partners contribute to an inclusive, positive community, share their talents, and take an active interest in their development, growth, and training. They proactively assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. This is a full-time position paying $18–$24 per hour. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.: Week 1 is Monday, Saturday, and Sunday; Week 2 is Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The community is located at 21452 Royalton Road, Strongsville, OH 44149.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude and willingness to work with residents.
Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.
