About The Position

The Care Partner at Cedar Trails in Freeburg, Illinois, supports residents with empathy and creates human connections during vulnerable moments. The role contributes to an inclusive, positive environment and supports residents’ quality of life through dependable teamwork, curiosity, and engagement in training and professional growth. The Care Partner proactively assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. This is a full-time position working 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on a rotating two-week schedule: Monday, Saturday, and Sunday in week one; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in week two. Pay is $17.50–$23.50 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive, energetic attitude and enthusiasm for working with residents.
Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter information about residents.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.
