About The Position

The Care Partner works at Vitalia Mentor in Mentor, Ohio, creating human connections with residents and supporting their quality of life. The role includes proactively assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. Team members are expected to be empathetic, dependable, positive, inclusive, engaged in their development, and invested in the residents, team, and community. This is a part-time position scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Week 1 is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday; Week 2 is Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday. The stated pay range is $18–$24 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Have a positive and energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Possess computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist people after a fall.
Receive criminal clearance.
