About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a full-time Care Partner at Westbury in Columbia, Missouri. The role focuses on building human connections with residents, creating a positive and inclusive environment, and providing proactive assistance with activities of daily living. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., working Monday, Saturday, and Sunday one week, then Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday the next. Pay is $19–$23.25 per hour. The Care Partner is expected to approach residents and teammates with empathy, generosity, curiosity, and a positive attitude. The role involves assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care, and helping residents sit, stand, and walk, including assisting after a fall. The position requires physical activity throughout the day and the ability to communicate in English and use basic computer functions to print documents and enter resident information.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude and an interest in working with residents.
Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and to assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.
