About The Position

The Care Partner at Rushwood in Wichita, Kansas, supports residents with empathy and helps create a positive, inclusive environment. The role involves building human connections, being dependable and present, and staying engaged in personal development, growth, and training. Care Partners proactively assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. This is a part-time position scheduled Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Pay is $19–$22 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Possess computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
Pass criminal clearance.
