About The Position

The Care Manager is a non-exempt, hourly, part-time position reporting to the Clinical Services Director. The role assists residents with all aspects of daily life as outlined in their care plans, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. The listed schedule is 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and the hourly salary range is $20.00–$22.00. The Care Manager supports residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality; helps ensure residents are clean, groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts; documents services provided; and promptly reports changes in residents’ conditions to a supervisor.

Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant and/or DHS certification.
High school diploma.
Ability to perform the physical duties described, including lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds and intermittent lifting and supporting of residents.
Use proper body mechanics.

Responsibilities

Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in each resident’s care plan.
Maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
Escort residents to meals and activities.
Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
Assist residents with daily-life needs identified in their care plans, including food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities.
