Part Time - Caregiver - Assisted Living - Second Shift (2:30p-10:30p)
About The Position
Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to join its Assisted Living team. The Caregiver assists licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living for residents under the supervision of an RN or LPN. This is a part-time second-shift position scheduled from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with flexible scheduling and a starting pay of $16.00 per hour. The role is in a fun work environment and includes benefits. Applicants should be enthusiastic, compassionate senior-care professionals with an interest in hospitality and senior engagement. A resume or past work experience must be uploaded to be considered. The community may ask about vaccination status, including MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, and flu.
Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years old.
- Be able to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
- Be able to document care given.
- Have good assessment skills.

Nice To Haves
- Prior geriatric care experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
- Provide prompt and efficient assistance to nursing personnel with non-professional duties and resident care under RN and LPN supervision.
- Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
