About The Position

The Certified Caregiver provides assisted-living residents with support for activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment. The role also transports residents around the community, responds promptly and safely to emergency calls, requests, and environmental hazards, follows resident care plans, and obtains vital signs.

This is a part-time/PRN position scheduled for the second shift on varied days, with one shift per pay period required.

Requirements

• Valid Arizona Caregiver Certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
