About The Position

The Certified Caregiver provides care and assistance to residents in an assisted living community. The role supports residents with activities of daily living, transports them within the community, responds to emergencies and requests, follows resident care plans, and obtains vital signs. The schedule is full-time with varied shifts.

Requirements

• A valid Arizona Caregiver Certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
