About The Position

The Certified Caregiver provides care and support to assisted living residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, transportation within the community, and responses to emergencies and requests. The caregiver follows resident care plans and obtains vital signs.

This is a full-time overnight position, scheduled 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Compensation is $18.50–$21.25 per hour.

Requirements

• A valid Arizona Caregiver Certificate.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond promptly, appropriately, and safely to emergency calls, resident or visitor requests, and environmental hazards.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
