About The Position

The Certified Caregiver provides assistance to residents of an assisted living community with activities of daily living and helps maintain residents’ personal environments. The role includes transporting residents within the community, responding promptly and safely to emergencies and requests, following resident care plans, and obtaining vital signs. The schedule is part-time/PRN on second shift, with varied days and one shift per pay period required.

Requirements

• A valid Arizona Caregiver Certificate is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
