About The Position
The Care Manager is a non-exempt, hourly, part-time position reporting to the Clinical Services Director. The role assists residents with aspects of daily life as indicated in their care plans, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. The scheduled shift is 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., for 22.5 to less than 30 hours per week. Compensation is $20 to $22 per hour.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant and/or DHS certification.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to perform the physical duties described, including lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds and intermittently lifting and supporting residents using proper body mechanics.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
- Dementia experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in each resident’s care plan.
- Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of residents.
- Escort residents to meals and activities.
- Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
- Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
- Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
