About The Position

The Care Manager assists residents with aspects of daily life as indicated in each resident’s care plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. This is a part-time, non-exempt, hourly position. The schedule has all shifts available, with regular part-time hours scheduled for at least 22.5 and fewer than 30 hours per week. Compensation is $21–$23 per hour.

Requirements

Be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
Be able to perform the physical activities of the job, including standing, walking, sitting, using fine and gross motor skills, reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, and smelling.
Be able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and intermittently lift and support residents, using proper body mechanics.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
Dementia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in care plans.
Maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
Escort residents to meals and activities.
Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
