Care Manager-CNA/CHHA (Full Time)
About The Position
The Care Manager provides warm, engaging personal care, support, and companionship to residents in a senior living community. The role assists residents with activities of daily living, monitors changes in their day-to-day condition and personal care needs, and updates their Resident Care Plans accordingly. The Care Manager also encourages residents to participate in community programs and activities. This is a full-time position scheduled for at least 30 hours per week. The schedule is 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.: Week 1 is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday; Week 2 is Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The stated compensation is $20.00–$21.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aid (HHA).
- Positive attitude and enjoyment of working with people.
- Ability to perform the stated physical activities and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
- Dementia experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, engaging personal care services, support, and companionship to residents.
- Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Observe changes in residents’ day-to-day condition and personal care needs, and update their Resident Care Plans.
- Encourage residents to participate in community programs and activities.
- Use proper body mechanics when lifting or supporting residents.
