About The Position

As a Care Assistant in reablement, you will help customers regain their independence and continue living in their own homes. Support may include helping customers relearn skills related to personal care, mobility and meal preparation. No previous experience is required; ECL provides training, followed by a mentor who will accompany you to meet customers and work alongside you until you are confident in the role. The position offers guaranteed contracted hours, ongoing specialist training, nationally recognised qualifications and support for progression within the company. The role is community-based and involves travelling around Brentwood and the surrounding area. A full driving licence, access to your own car and business insurance are essential. Mileage is paid at 55p per mile, and travel time between customers is paid. Available contracts include 30 hours, with a range of shifts for full-time or part-time work. Weekday evening shifts run from 3:00pm to 11:00pm; weekend shifts run from 7:00am to 3:00pm or 3:00pm to 11:00pm.
