About The Position

Home Instead Pocklington & Brough is hiring an Evening Care Assistant to provide person-centred support to older people in their own homes, helping them remain safe, happy and independent. Visits are a minimum of one hour, allowing time to build relationships and provide unrushed care. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this community-based role. The position offers £13.15–£13.65 per hour, plus paid travel time and mileage.

Various working patterns are available. The advertised evening shift runs from 4:15 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with three set days per week and alternate weekends on Saturday and Sunday. The employer is seeking people who can commit to regular, reliable working patterns. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available. Employment is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure.
