About The Position

As a Care Assistant in reablement, you will help customers regain independence and continue living in their own homes. Support may include helping customers relearn skills relating to personal care, mobility, and preparing meals. No previous experience is required; ECL provides induction and role training, followed by mentoring and ongoing support. The role offers guaranteed contracted hours and opportunities to progress through specialist training and nationally recognised qualifications. This is a community-based role requiring travel around South Essex, predominantly Rochford, Rayleigh, Canvey, and surrounding areas. You must have access to a car, a full driving licence, and business insurance. The employer pays 55p per mile and pays for travel time between customers. Thirty-hour contracts are available, with weekday evening and weekend shifts. Full-time and part-time contracts are offered.

Requirements

Access to a car and a full driving licence are essential.

No previous care experience is required; training is provided.
