About The Position

As a Care Assistant in reablement, you will help customers regain independence and continue living in their own homes. Support may include helping customers relearn everyday skills such as personal care, mobility and meal preparation. The role involves travelling around South Essex, predominantly Rayleigh, Rochford, Canvey and surrounding areas. A full driving licence, access to your own vehicle and business insurance are essential. Mileage is paid at 55p per mile, and travel time between customers is paid. No previous care experience is required. ECL provides induction and training, followed by mentoring and shadowing with customers until you feel confident in the role. The company offers guaranteed contracted hours, ongoing support and opportunities to progress, including paid specialist training and nationally recognised qualifications. Contracts of 30 hours are available, with weekday evening and weekend shifts. Full-time and part-time contracts are offered. Requirements

Full driving licence.
