About The Position

ECL is hiring a community-based Care Assistant in Brentwood to support customers through reablement, helping them regain independence and continue living in their own homes. Support may include helping customers relearn skills relating to personal care, mobility and meal preparation. The role involves travelling around Brentwood and the surrounding area, and requires access to a car, a full driving licence and business insurance.

No previous care experience is required. ECL provides fully paid induction and training, followed by mentoring and shadowing with customers until the employee feels confident in the role. The position offers guaranteed contracted hours and support to progress through ongoing specialist training and nationally recognised qualifications. Available contracts are 16–30 hours, with weekday shifts from 7am to 3pm or 3pm to 11pm; all contracts include working every other weekend.
