About The Position

The Assistant Basketball Coach at Brentwood Middle School is responsible for coaching duties and overseeing assistant coaches, making decisions in accordance with the direction of the program. The position includes organizing and supervising game help and assisting with supervision at activities. Regular attendance is required. The assignment length and days vary during the 2026–2027 school year. Travel is required as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification.
• Completion of the CHSAA test and compliance with its regulations.
• Concussion education and completion of concussion training.
• Prior coaching experience in basketball.
• Knowledge of Colorado and district content standards.
• Knowledge and skills sufficient to perform the duties of the position.
• Regular attendance.
• Ability to sit for long periods; visual, auditory, and ambulatory acuity are important.
• Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
• Travel as needed.
