About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, patient-centric Cardiovascular Surgeon to join our expanding, high-volume surgical team. The ideal candidate should have extensive expertise in a wide range of adult cardiac and vascular procedures, as well as significant experience in general thoracic surgery. In this position, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, which includes cardiologists, pulmonologists, oncologists, and critical care specialists, to deliver exceptional, comprehensive operative care. While the primary focus is on advanced cardiovascular surgery, proficiency in essential thoracic interventions is highly advantageous to address our community's diverse clinical demands.

Requirements

• Active Missouri State License or IMLC eligibility.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (certification must be obtained within 5 years post-residency).
• Flu vaccination required or a medical/religious exemption.
• COVID-19 vaccination required or a medical/religious exemption.
• ACLS is mandatory for those requesting conscious sedation privileges.
• Ability to secure a Missouri medical license before the start date if IMLC eligible.
