About The Position

This is a locum tenens position for a Vascular Surgeon to provide coverage for inpatient units and the Emergency Department. The role involves managing surgical procedures and requires on-call duties. The practice is hospital-based, serving an adult and geriatric population in a Level 1 Trauma facility. The physician will utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation. Coverage is needed for five consecutive days each month, with potential for weekend shifts as part of the on-call schedule. This coverage is to fill an open Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) position.

Requirements

• Board Certification: Vascular Surgery
• Fellowship: Required
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (Required)
• Active Ohio License
• Must have a clean background check—no malpractice or licensing issues allowed.

Responsibilities

• Manage surgical procedures
• Provide coverage for Inpatient (IP) units
• Provide coverage for Emergency Department (ED)
• Utilize EPIC for documentation
• Perform on-call duties, including potential weekend shifts
